Eilat is Israel’s southernmost city, a busy port and popular resort at the northern tip of the Red Sea ideal for a winter sun getaway. The city’s beaches, nightlife and desert landscapes make it a popular destination for international tourism all year round. With today’s announcement, Eilat is becoming the 129th airport in the WIZZ network.

Billund, the gateway to West Denmark, is also the home of the Lego Group its theme park, Legoland. Since 2009 the town is also the home of Lalandia Billund, a waterpark and activity center. The city is a popular destination for families with children. With direct flights from Gdansk and Warsaw to Billund WIZZ is currently the only airline connecting Poland with West Denmark.

Since its first flight in 2004, Wizz Air has constantly expanded its low fare Warsaw network, which now consists of 41 routes to 21 countries. In 2015, Wizz Air carried more than 1,5 million passengers on its low-fare Warsaw routes, supporting over 1000** local jobs.

The airline has now over 200 customer-oriented crew and six aircraft –including two Airbus A321ceos- based at Warsaw Chopin Airport and the third A321ceo to join the Warsaw WIZZ fleet in March 2017.  With 230 seats on board, the Airbus A321ceo is the most efficient single-aisle passenger aircraft.  The aircraft’s superior operating economics mean that WIZZ offers more seats to more destinations at WIZZ’s lowest fares at the same time as delivering the lowest emissions and noise footprint in its class.
