WildLights tickets on sale beginning October 15

WHAT

2012-10-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — See the zoo in a whole new light during Woodland Park Zoo’s WildLights presented by KeyBank November 23 – January 1. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning October 15 at zoo.org/wildlights.

The all-new WildLights features wild animals and wild places recreated in thousands of sparking LED lights inspired by exotic destinations from across the globe, including “Northern Lights,” “The Water Hole” and “Jungle Lights.” The sparkling, after-hours event will kick off November 23 and continue through January 1, 5:30-8:30 nightly. WildLights will be closed December 24 and 25.

Experience illuminated indoor and outdoor displays, a ride on the zoo’s decorated Historic Carousel (additional fee), and a visit from a couple of reindeer! Festive snacks will be available for purchase during event nights.

Round up the family and friends to enjoy this spectacular animated display of nature’s wonder at the zoo’s WildLights winter lights festival.

EXCLUSIVE MEMBERS-ONLY NIGHTS

Woodland Park Zoo is offering three discounted nights for zoo members only:  November 19-21, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tickets for the exclusive members-only nights are $6.50 per person for all ages 3 and over; ages 2 and under are free.

WHEN

November 23-January 1, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. nightly. WildLights will be closed December 24 and 25.

WHERE

Woodland Park Zoo’s West Plaza. Enter through the zoo’s West Entrance on Phinney Ave. N. between N. 55th & N. 56th Streets.

TICKETS

Tickets can be purchased online only by visiting www.zoo.org/wildlights. Night-of-event tickets will be for sale at the zoo’s West Entrance, if not sold out.  WildLights will be a rain or shine event‒there will be no ticket refunds.

COST

November 23-December 13: Adults (13-64) $8.50; Children (3-12) $6.50; Toddlers (2 and under) Free. December 14-January 1: Adults (13-64) $9.50; Children (3-12) $6.50; Toddlers (2 and under) Free. WildLights ticket does not include admission to the zoo prior to 5:30 p.m. Event parking in zoo lots is free Monday-Thursday, and $5.25 per car Friday-Sunday, but may be limited. This is an after-hours fundraiser—regular zoo membership admission does not apply.
