Richmond, B.C., 2022-Apr-12 — /Travel PR News/ — Vancouver International Airport is thrilled to be the first Canadian airport to welcome a Lynx Air (Lynx) commercial flight today (APRIL 7, 2022). Canada’s new ultra-affordable airline departed Calgary at 11:15 a.m. and arrived safely at Vancouver International Airport at 11:51 a.m..
“Lynx Air starting service is an exciting day for the Canadian aviation and tourism industry,” said Vrooman. “As YVR prepares for a busy summer travel season, we know Canadians want options when it comes to connecting with other parts of this massive country. We are excited to work with Lynx Air to provide another choice for travellers and to bring its innovative business model to YVR.”
By the end of May, Lynx Air will be flying 50 flights per week in and out of Vancouver, which is more than 9,400 seats.
