UPDATED TRAVEL ADVISORY – CARIBBEAN AIRLINES GUARANTEED TRAVEL PROGRAM HURRICANE SANDY – OCTOBER 2012

Port-of-Spain, 2012-10-25 — /travelprnews.com/ — Due to the onset of Tropical Storm Sandy in the Jamaica and Nassau area, Caribbean Airlines Limited (CAL) passengers booked and ticketed to travel during the period October 23, 2012 to October 27, 2012, will be permitted to make changes to their reservations without penalty subject to the following conditions:

  • Passengers must already be in possession of a ticket with confirmed reservations issued no later than October 24, 2012.
  • Booked to travel to/from Jamaica and Nassau during the period October 23 – October 27, 2012.
  • Changes may be made up to October 29, 2012. The original inventory within the relevant cabin is not required; however the PNR must be properly documented.
  • Passengers requesting change to origin/destination between KIN and MBJ may do so without additional collection/change fee provided travel is within the above-mentioned travel period. CAL will not be responsible for arrangements to/from an alternate airport or for any hotel/overnight expenses incurred.
  • Passengers with totally unused tickets who elect not to travel during the specified period may have their tickets placed on hold for future travel on Caribbean Airlines up to 1 year from the original date of issue. Any difference, including change penalty between the original ticket and the new ticket must be collected.
