Looking for a flight or a holiday for this coming autumn, winter or spring 2013? You’re bound to find just the thing at the Grand Travel Day in the terminal. From 10:00 to 18:00 on Sunday 16 September the 20 travel agencies at the terminal – Dresden’s biggest travel centre – will be offering a wealth of attractive flights and holidays as well as expert advice. There will also be lots of fun and games to entertain the kids. Parking in the multi-storey car park is free on Travel Day.

Winter timetable 2012/13: 44 flight destinations in 13 countries from Dresden • New: non-stop to Budapest, London and Vienna with OLT Express

This winter season (28 October 2012 – 30 March 2013) there will be plenty of non-stop flights from Dresden International to popular holiday destinations on the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and the Red Sea. And if you’re yearning for more distant shores, you can fly from Dresden to destinations like Thailand, Jamaica, Cuba or the Seychelles via Frankfurt, Munich or Düsseldorf. New in the timetable are non-stop flights with OLT Express to Budapest, London Southend and Vienna starting on 15 October.

Getting here, parking

To get to Dresden International Airport by public transport, you can take S-Bahn line S2 from Dresden Central Station via Dresden-Neustadt Station or bus routes 77 and 80. For those travelling by car, there are around 2,900 covered parking spaces in the multi-storey car park near the terminal.

Exit passes entitling Travel Day visitors to free parking can be obtained from the airport information desk.
