Travelport announced the continuation of long-term relationships with three major travel agencies in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 2013-03-25 — /travelprnews.com/ — Establishing its footprint even further in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), business services provider Travelport has announced the continuation of its long-term relationships with three major travel agencies in the country – Asfar Travel, Transcontinents and Roibek Travel.

The new contracts mark a new chapter in the solid business relationship between Travelport and the agencies – with Transcontinents and Roibek Travel renewing their contract for another three years, and Asfar for five.

The deals are the latest in a long line of customer successes for Travelport in Saudi Arabia, following the most recent major signing with Al Tayyar Travel group – the largest travel provider in the Kingdom.

The renewed agreements will also ensure that Asfar Travel, Transcontinents and Roibek Travel continue to benefit from Travelport’s regional expertise, unrivalled customer service and cutting edge technology solutions. All three travel agencies are growing travel and tourism companies with multiple retail outlets and plans to support their growth efforts by leveraging Travelport’s leading-edge offering.

Commenting on the announcement, Rabih Saab, President and Managing Director, Middle East and Africa, Travelport, said: “Thanks to our exceptional technology and dedicated local resources, Travelport has been able to build great momentum in Saudi Arabia and gain the trust of such high-calibre travel agencies. We are proud to be affiliated with such reputable, fast-growing travel companies and look forward to working closely with them supporting their dynamic businesses with the best GDS offering in KSA.”
