BANGKOK, 2016-Aug-17 — /Travel PR News/ — The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is pleased to announce a Preferred Partnership agreement with mobile virtual network operator Flexiroam Asia Limited.
Flexiroam is a new breed of telecommunications company that enables travellers to bypass roaming charges around the world. Its flagship data-roaming product, FLEXIROAM X, allows users to earn up to 100GB data to be used in 100 countries with plans that last up to one year.
“The partnership with Flexiroam provides the Association’s members and event delegates with the opportunity to travel with the reassurance and knowledge that they can still stay in contact and up to date with their family, business colleagues and friends,” said PATA CEO Dr. Mario Hardy. “At PATA, we are continually finding new innovative avenues to provide greater benefits to our members and our event attendees and this partnership only reinforces that commitment by providing a special discount for the Flexiroam service, which we will announce soon.”
Flexiroam is connected to 580 network operators around the globe, enabling Flexiroam services to have access in over 200 countries and territories. The company has saved millions in roaming charges for its 800,000-plus subscribers through a range of products that has changed radically the way people connect. Flexiroam has partnerships with hundreds of travel partners including airlines across the Asia Pacific region, enabling the company to establish footholds in the region.
Jef Ong, CEO at Flexiroam Ltd, added, “It is a major milestone for Flexiroam to gain endorsement from a reputable international association such as PATA.
