Summer Travellers to Experience New Upgrades at Four Seasons Resorts Lanai

Additional flights by Ohana by Hawaiian Airlines and Island Air make it easy for vacationers to experience the new amenities on Hawaii’s “private island.”

2013-04-09 — /travelprnews.com/ — A favourite destination among A-list celebrities, the secret is getting out about Lanai with new enhancements and upgrades on Hawaii’s “private island,” anchored by Four Seasons Resorts Lanai: Manele Bay and The Lodge at Koele. Recent improvements include refurbished lobbies at both Resorts; a new, private fine art collection featuring local Hawaii artists; and the highly anticipated addition of Nobu Lanai – the only of its kind at a Four Seasons.

“Lanai is an exclusive, one-of-a-kind destination with a distinct sense of place,” says Tom Roelens, general manager of Four SeasonsResorts Lanai. “The recent enhancements and unique amenity offerings at Four Seasons Resorts Lanai are in line with our commitment to continually improve on the guest experience.”

In addition to property upgrades, access to and from Lanai will also get an upgrade with Hawaiian Airlines’ recent announcement that the company’s new turboprop subsidiary, Ohana by Hawaiian Airlines, will begin daily service to Lanai starting July 2013. Island Air also announced plans to double its inter-island turboprop fleet by the end of 2013.

“It’s really the perfect time to visit Lanai,” says Roelens. “We see this as just the beginning of exciting, new things to come.”

The highlight of the recent enhancements is the addition of Nobu Lanai. Celebrity chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa and the team at Four Seasons partnered to create a menu featuring Nobu’s signature new-style Japanese cuisine, as well as new creations infusing local ingredients.

“Lanai’s abundance of nature really drew me to the island,” said Chef Matsuhisa.

Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay is also the first hotel to offer Nobu by The Pool. Guests can enjoy spicy tuna rolls, fresh sashimi roku, soft-shell crab rolls, and other Nobu Lanai dishes poolside.

Other noteworthy enhancements include the debuts of The Lounge, Manele Bay’s elegant bar featuring a refined cocktail menu with an emphasis on house made ingredients, local produce and handcrafted methods; and The Sports Bar, specializing in casual dining fare with large screen televisions for sports enthusiasts.

New amenities include a private Mercedes fleet for VIP transportation; refurbished pool furnishings including the addition of VIP poolside service; complimentary guided Snorkel Safari tours, Hulopo’e Beach Shoreline fishing lessons, and more.

Both Resorts are offering special packages perfect for summer travel including a Stay Longer package where guests receive a complimentary fourth night free for three consecutive paid nights at Manele Bay (bookable now for stays May 8 – September 30, 2013) or a free third night with every two consecutive paid nights at The Lodge at Koele (bookable now for stays through December 19, 2014).
