Current service values for in excess of 150 companies in the tourism segment had already been surveyed in June 2012, when Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts were awarded first places in the tourism segment and in the Premium Hotels category.

Customers of the respective companies are asked for their assessment of the service they have received. Service Champions is an initiative launched by the Cologne-based analysis company ServiceValue GmbH in conjunction with the Goethe University of Frankfurt/ Main and the daily newspaper DIE WELT.
