AFTERNOON TEA AT KEMPINSKI – FLAVOURS OF THE GREATEST

Bangkok, Thailand, 2021-Aug-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok reveals its traditional finest tea ceremony of all-time favourites reimagined from the past decade. Immerse in the flavours of the greatest afternoon tea with a splendid combination of flavours, textures and aromas in the lobby’s striking ambience of European grandeur from 1 September until 14 November 2021.

Executive Pastry Chef Franck Istel presents the new ‘Afternoon Tea at Kempinski – Flavours of the Greatest’, inspired by a selection of all-time favourites of European classic savouries and sweets paired with a choice of divine coffee or Ronnefeldt tea. Chef Franck has also added a refreshing homemade green apple sorbet, served at your table.

The tea ceremony begins with savoury delicacies, including classic ham and cheese sandwich; mini chèvre cheesecake and apricot compote; smashed avocado, quail egg and caviar; Tasmanian smoked salmon canapé; and mini lobster brioche.

The heavenly choice of sweet specialities features strawberry pistachio choux; blueberry white chocolate Chantilly macaroon; opera cake slice with espresso coffee cream and chocolate ganache; passion fruit and strawberry mini cubes; soft lemon chiffon Gugelhupf cake; and more.

Of course, the afternoon-tea classic plain, raisin and Valrhona chocolate scones is served with Devonshire clotted cream, lemon curd and strawberry jam and cannot be missed.

Tea Master Ging Nipaporn Hanwichai has delicately selected a variety of exquisite Ronnefeldt tea to pair well with this special afternoon-tea edition.

The ‘Afternoon Tea at Kempinski – Flavours of the Greatest’ is served daily from 1 September until 14 November 2021 from 14:00 to 17:00 hrs at the lobby lounge and Hanuman Bar located on the ground floor of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and priced at THB 990++ per person, paired with a choice of divine coffee or Ronnefeldt tea.
