Porter Airlines – Hurricane Sandy update

TORONTO, 2012-10-29 — /travelprnews.com/ — Due to forecasted weather conditions related to Hurricane Sandy, Porter Airlines has cancelled all flights to and from Newark, Boston and Washington on Monday, October 29, and Tuesday, October 30. It is anticipated that flights will resume on Wednesday, October 31, for these routes.

In addition, all Porter flights arriving at and departing from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport are cancelled as of 3 p.m. today, until 12 p.m. tomorrow. Other cancellations or delays may occur.

All passengers are encouraged to verify their flight status at www.flyporter.com. Email notifications will also be sent in certain cases that allow for online confirmation of rescheduled flights.

Fees for flight changes will be waived for those whose travel plans have been affected by the hurricane. Passengers can choose to travel on another day or receive a full credit for future travel.
