Jajčanin joins the 192-room beachfront resort with extensive experience in hotel operations and food and beverage management. His professional background is marked by a strong focus on service delivery, operational standards and staff development, as well as improving performance across multiple hotel departments. Known for his practical and detail-oriented management style, he has contributed to operational improvements while fostering collaborative and guest-focused workplace cultures.

In his new position, Jajčanin will be responsible for overseeing the resort’s daily operations, working alongside the executive leadership team to maintain service consistency, enhance the overall guest experience and promote a motivated and high-performing workforce across departments.

Located on the west coast of Mahé approximately 30 minutes from Seychelles International Airport, Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles reopened in June 2025 following a comprehensive renovation. The updated resort features enhanced accommodations including Lagoon Access Rooms, a larger swimming pool area, several restaurants and bars, an AvaniSpa and a range of curated cultural activities for guests.

The appointment comes as Avani continues to expand its international portfolio with several new openings planned across Asia and Australia.
