Offering striking views over Hyde Park, the Royal Suite at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is the address where town meets country. On arrival, guests’ of the stunning Royal Suite will receive an Annoushka Mythology 18ct yellow gold and diamond alphabet pendant in their chosen initial, with an invitation to visit their nearby boutique in Sloane Square or within Harvey Nichols during their stay. Retailing for GBP395, the Annoushka Alphabet pendant has been worn by a host of beautiful faces including Jennifer Lopez, Kirsten Stewart and Rihanna.
Guests’ of the Royal Suite will also be invited for a complimentary ‘Perfume Portrait’ at Ormonde Jayne’s flagship boutique in Sloane Square. The art of bespoke perfumery is to understand which oils evoke a positive sensation. The Ormonde Jayne Perfume Portrait takes guests on a personal voyage of discovery and concentrates the mind by smelling single notes to help them find their Ormonde Jayne scent. Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park’s Royal Suite guests’ will then receive their personal 50ml bottle of parfum, poured at 30% strength, in a hand blown flacon with a personalised engraved gold stopper with engraved initials or a special memorable date in a handmade box as a gift.
Remaining true to the elegant Victorian architectural heritage and introducing a fresh, contemporary style, the 242 square-metre Royal Suite evokes a feeling of staying in a chic city apartment, and includes a master bedroom and bathroom, separate living room, dining room and kitchen and two adjoining additional bedrooms. Raised ceilings and handcrafted furnishings are complemented by the city’s only sweeping 70 meter balcony overlooking leafy Hyde Park, large enough to entertain up to 40 guests. Original artwork is showcased in the suite due to a unique partnership with the Halcyon Gallery, including an Issis Sculpture in the living room which mimics the one in Hyde Park.
