2012-11-05 — /travelprnews.com/ — The 59th Macau Grand Prix officially sponsored by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”) is coming around the corner. Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) and Macau Grand Prix Committee (MGPC) organize the 59th Macau Grand Prix Roadshow on 3-4 November at Central Atrium of Olympian City 2 to let visitors experience the excitement of the annual event in Hong Kong. Engineer João Manuel Costa Antunes, Director of MGTO and Coordinator of MGPC led the delegations of MGTO and MGPC to officiate the opening ceremony today (3 Nov). They also enjoyed a series of entertainment programmes together with the audience.
During the opening ceremony, celebrities Mr. Hung Tin Ming and Mr. Bob Lam shared their passion towards car-racing and their experiences in travelling in Macau. Hong Kong artist Mr. Hoi Chiu presented the sceneries of Macau by sand art, which provided the crowning touch to Macau singer Ms. Josefina Santos’s performances of the theme song of Macau Grand Prix and the promotion song of MGTO “Touching Moments Experience Macau”. The dancing show afterwards marked the climax of the show. The guests also had an interactive Q&A session with the audience, during which entry tickets to Macau Grand Prix were given as prizes to offer them an opportunity to witness the event in person.
The roadshow design features racing tracks, where award-winning F3 racing car, motorbike, rescue and safety cars are displayed to provide the visitors a sense of reality. The Guia Circuit game and the motor racing simulators augment the public’s attention and interest to the Macau Grand Prix. In addition to feeling the excitement of Macau Grand Prix at the roadshow, public can access latest race programme, ticketing information as well as the Macau Grand Prix Gazettes and Bulletins, by downloading the Macau Grand Prix app. In addition, the “Experience Macau Grand Prix @ Guia Circuit” game at the Facebook fan page “Touching Moments Experience Macau” offers players an opportunity to win the SJM 59th Macau Grand Prix entry tickets or roundtrip ferry tickets.
