Plus, the debut of Ermanno Scervino’s autumn lingerie collection at the Spa
Florence, Italy, 2012-09-05 — /travelprnews.com/ — Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy includes the highest symbolic expression of the rose: in the last canto of Paradise, Dante, guided by Beatrice, reaches the Empyrean, the Supreme Sky of Light, the Heavens, which take the shape of a splendid snow white rose. To Dante, the mystical rose is the rose of love, both the earthly and celestial one.
Pleasantly Surprising Rose Treatment
The undisputed symbol of beauty and elegance, associated with the city of Florence, the rose, with its countless beneficial properties, is the star of the new signature treatment at the Spa at Four SeasonsHotel Firenze beginning this autumn.
The treatment begins with a gentle, rose-fragranced head massage, and is followed by a scrub to reactivate oxygenation of the skin using raw silk gloves and rose dry oil, ideal for purifying the skin’s surface. Then, a relaxing massage using rose shea butter focuses on the face, neck, shoulders and back. The treatment concludes with application of silk gel to the face for a silky feeling with the delicate touch of rosebuds. Guests are invited to the lounge following treatment to enjoy rose herbal tea and rose-flavoured chocolate biscuits.
The treatment cost is EUR 320.00 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Ermanno Scervino at Four Seasons
Earlier this year, the Spa welcomed the arrival of summer in a very original way: at the entrance of this precious temple of wellness, nestled in the lush Gherardesca Park, is a corner showcasing the collections by Ermanno Scervino, the famous Florentine fashion house, associated with elegance and top quality. After the beachwear collections, the autumn season is marked by the designer’s exclusive lingerie collection – an additional touch of elegance and Florentine style within the Hotel.
