Lufthansa names Dr. Kay Lindemann as new Head of Corporate International Relations and Government Affairs
COLOGNE, Germany, 2018-Mar-05 — /Travel PR News/ — After almost 16 years as Senior Vice President and Head of Lufthansa Group International Relations and Government Affairs, Thomas Kropp is handing over the responsibilities of his office to his successor Dr. Kay Lindemann today (01-MAR-2018) as he retires after 24 years at the company.
Since 2002, Thomas Kropp and his teams in Frankfurt, Berlin, Brussels, Moscow and Beijing have developed the worldwide political and international relations of the ever-growing Lufthansa Group. The trained lawyer accompanied the transformation from a state-owned airline to the Lufthansa Group, Europe’s largest and most successful aviation group, and worked for the interests of the company at all political levels.
A contribution to the success of the company
“Thomas Kropp has worked tirelessly for the positions of the Lufthansa Group with his competence and many years of experience. His persuasive work for the interests of air traffic has made a significant contribution in the successful positioning of our company”, says CEO Carsten Spohr.
Dr. Kay Lindemann joined the Lufthansa Group at the beginning of the year. The 46-year-old lawyer holds a Doctorate in Law and was previously the Managing Director of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
