FRANKFURT, Germany, 2016-Nov-30 — /Travel PR News/ — The latest Lufthansa fleet aircraft has completed its maiden flight to Munich around three weeks before delivery. The Lufthansa Airbus A350-900 took off on its first flight in Toulouse but without passengers. An international Airbus crew tested the on-board systems and the behavior of the aircraft during all flight stages.
The Lufthansa Group will receive the first of ten A350-900 on 19 December 2016 and will start its scheduled service between Munich and Delhi on 10 February 2017. The world’s most modern long-range aircraft is an investment into the future: It reduces emissions by 25 percent and is significantly quieter during take-off than comparable aircraft types.
