Qatar, 2017-Sep-03 — /Travel PR News/ — The official World Tourism Day (WTD) celebrations will be held in Doha this September with the support of Katara Hospitality as Hospitality Partner, organisers Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) announced today.

WTD is the official day set aside in the United Nations’ calendar to highlight tourism’s contribution to some of the most pressing challenges society is faced with today. This year, the celebrations will be held under the theme ‘Sustainable Tourism – A Tool for Development’. This year’s celebrations will be the platform for the launch of the Next Chapter of the Qatar National Tourism Sector Strategy 2030.
