AL Continues Introducing the World with the Charms of Japan

TOKYO, JAPAN 2016-Aug-17 — /Travel PR News/ — Japan Airlines (JAL)’s global website (www.jal.com) is routinely accessed from 26 regions all over the world. One part of the site is the “JAL Guide to Japan (*1),” an information site for overseas visitors in seven languages (*2), which now features location search function and video contents.

The “JAL Guide to Japan” has implemented functionality for searching related information in different languagesefficiently. This makes the site more user-friendly, alongside provision of the engaging video contents.

JAL aims to become the most preferred airline in the world. To achieve this goal, we endeavor to keep welcoming as many overseas visitors as possible to Japan with “omotenashi,” the spirit of Japanese hospitality.

This new page search function enables customers to find the sightseeing or event information they need as quickly as possible. Users can filter content by category as well as searching by keyword, making it even easier to find the information they’re looking for.

–       Tourist information for hot springs, beaches, ski resorts, Shinto shrines, Buddhist temples, etc.

–       Event information for festivals, traditional performance arts, etc.

–       Fine food information for regional cuisine, locally brewed sake, etc.

–       Facility information for galleries, museums, etc.

–       Information for seasonal points of interest such as cherry blossom and autumnal foliage viewing.

Video clips (*3) from well-received program in Japan – “Tabi Plus Navi,” and inflight videos (on international flights) relating to “JAL New Japan Project” will be introduced in this new section.
