Collaborating with industry-leading partners possessing advanced digital technologies, JAL Engineering has undertaken three pivotal initiatives:
- Development of aircraft failure prediction algorithms through hypothesis-driven and data-driven analysis technologies, leveraging maintenance expertise and AI.
- Creation of diagnostic support tools utilizing medical AI technology for inspecting aircraft engine images.
- Optimization of line maintenance plans using quantum computing technology.
- Creating New Business Models: Air Mobility Business Leveraging its expertise in flight safety and advanced technology, JAL is pioneering the next-generation air mobility business involving drones and eVTOLs (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft).
