Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to host a new Mindful Ski Camp this winter

Teton Village, WY, 2018-Oct-23 — /Travel PR News/ — New this winter Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is hosting an innovative multi-day Mindful Ski Camp to be held January 31 through February 3, 2019.  This three and a half day experience will be sure to invigorate and inspire those who attend. Join camp facilitator and life coach Jan Hoath as she and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort ski coaches help campers develop mindfulness practices into a full body experience in connection with mind, spirit, and nature.  Mindfulness exercises will begin and conclude off the slopes each day as a community. On the snow, participants will be placed into ski groups based on ability and coaches will assist with the integration of mindfulness and skiing. By the third day participants will have found a deeper understanding of the power of mindfulness and how it relates to the advancement of their skiing and their lives.

This year Mindful Ski Camp will host impressive guest contributors: Mark Bertolini and Susan Bauer-Wu, national leaders in the mindfulness education community. In addition to Susan and Mark, local mindful talent and pro-skier Sasha Dingle and JHMR owner Connie Kemmerer will be supporting the camp programing.

“It is exciting to be hosting a Mindful Ski Camp this winter. In 2013, we had a small Mindful Camp lead by John Travis, where several of our instructors attended and received mindfulness training.  This year, Jan Hoath will facilitate the newly designed camp along with exciting experts in the field,” stated JHMR Owner, Connie Kemmerer.  She added, “I’m looking forward to the experience of integrating mindfulness and skiing. For me, mindfulness enriches my life and skiing renews my spirit.”

Camp facilitator Jan Hoath added, “I am thrilled to be collaborating with JHMR to rebirth Connie’s long time vision for a Mindful Ski Camp.  This camp will take the spirit of Jackson Hole to a new level as participants reach new heights in their skiing, while discovering a deeper connection with themselves, the mountains and the present moment; something that will stay with them forever, and truly, a gift that keeps on giving.”
