Ideal for a Weekday Morning, Massage Therapy at the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore Indulges with an Extra 30 Minutes of Bliss

Extend the experience with a poolside Spa cuisines bento tray.

Singapore – 2012-09-12 — /travelprnews.com/ — Recognized by Forbes Travel Guide as one of Singapore’s Top 4 Spas, the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is a temple of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Featuring a diverse spa menu with Asian and European spa therapies from a regionally trained team of visiting Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts therapists from Thailand, Seychelles and China, the Spa now offers one of the following 90-minute massage therapies for the price of a 60-minute treatment:

  • The Reviver: The Spa’s signature massage incorporates Asian therapies and techniques to soothe tired and stiff muscles. Long firm strokes penetrate into the deeper layers of muscle tissues, providing tension relief and return of the body’s energy balance and overall wellness.
  • Balinese: This relaxing massage has been handed down through generations. The techniques of skin rolling, long kneading strokes, thumb circles and thumb pressure are believed to renew, strengthen and heal the body.
  • Aroma: Two essential oil blends are offered as part of this aromatic massage, to help heighten the senses. Guests choose from Peace of Asia, with sandalwood, ylang-ylang and black pepper, or Asia Sunset, with lavender, lemongrass and nutmeg.

Guests may also choose their desired style of massage:

  • Restorative – light, rhythmic strokes with movement towards the lymphatic areas, resulting in gentle relaxation
  • Energizing – deep strokes and cross-fibre massage techniques to stimulate overall blood circulation, relieving stress, muscle tension and aches in problem areas

To round up the pampering session, guests can head over to the Club or poolside and enjoy a wholesome all-day Spa cuisine bento tray. Receive a healthy boost of antioxidants with fresh and tasty seared premium tuna dressed with extra virgin olive oil, San Marzano cherry tomatoes, three types of fruit on a skewer, vegetable sticks with low-fat yogurt and guacamole dips and a refreshing glass of ice tea. Organic basil grown in the Hotel’s herb garden is also used in this meal (SGD 35.00, in conjunction with a Spa treatment). Time-pressed patrons can also opt to enjoy the bento tray on its own (SGD 45.00) at the Club.

For spa aficionados with sensitive skin, the Spa offers a range of products and treatments by Sodashi, the first 100 percent chemical-free products in Singapore. Employing only therapeutic-grade, ethically sourced essential oils and plant actives to effectively heal and nurture, the products are made using the highest quality natural ingredients sourced from around the world.

Each of the Massage Therapies is priced at SGD 155.00 for weekday appointments, subject to ten percent service charge. The Spa cuisine bento tray prices are subject to 10 percent service charge and prevailing government taxes.

The Spa is located on the third floor of the Hotel’s Club facility, a part of the 65,000 square feet (6,000 square metres) of space dedicated to health and wellness. The Spa is open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, with the last treatment beginning at 8:45 pm.
