MADRID, 2015-11-5 — /Travel PR News/ — Iberia has confirmed an order for two long-haul Airbus A330-200s, to be delivered in 2017-2018.

The twin-engine A330/200s modern and highly fuel-efficient and will reduce CO2 emissions. They have a range of up to 11,500 kilometres.

The new aircraft will raise to 29 the number of long-haul aircraft ordered by Iberia since August 2014, of which deliveries will begin next month. Thirteen new Airbus A330-200s are to join the Iberia fleet between December, 2015 and March, 2018, while 16 late-model Airbus A350-900s will be delivered between 2018 and 2021.

All the new aircraft will come factory-equipped with Iberia’s newly designed business and economy cabins. Economy passengers get more room and wider seats, along with individual touch screens, plus Wi-Fi access and GSM connectivity.
