Great Wolf Lodge shows gratitude to the selfless nurses with “Nights for Nurses” campaign

Book Now, Stay Later, While Giving Back & Saving Up To 50%

CHICAGO, IL, 2020-May-02 — /Travel PR News/ — In honor of Nurses Month in May, and as part of its ongoing commitment to the community, Great Wolf Lodge is encouraging fans of its indoor waterpark resort to join in showing support and gratitude to the selfless nurses confronting the COVID-19 outbreak through its “Nights for Nurses” campaign. For every room booked from May 4-12, 2020 with the code THANKYOU, Great Wolf Lodge will donate a free overnight stay to a registered nurse so they can enjoy some much deserved quality time with their families. With support from the American Nurses Association (ANA), Great Wolf Lodge plans to distribute up to 10,000 overnight stays as part of this effort.

This program allows Great Wolf Lodge guests a chance to give back to nurses on the frontlines while also receiving a significant discount. By using the same promotional code THANKYOU, guests will unlock a discount of up to 50 percent off standard room rates for stays July 6 through Oct. 29, 2020.*

“We are immensely grateful to our nurses and health care heroes who are going above and beyond to save lives on the frontline while spending months apart from their families and friends,” said Murray Hennessy, chief executive officer for Great Wolf Resorts. “While no words or acts can fully show how thankful we are, we are pleased to provide these nurses with an opportunity to enjoy some special moments at Great Wolf Lodge with their loved ones when this has subsided.”

This effort is part of Great Wolf Lodge’s company-wide Paw Pledge initiative, which focuses on health and safety of its guests and pack, commitment to the community, and providing travel flexibility to families. As part of the travel flexibility program, and to help families plan future stays at Great Wolf Lodge, the resort instituted a Free Cancellation or Change Program that allows guests to cancel or change a reservation with no fees or penalties if done so before June 16, 2020. Additional details about the Free Cancellation or Change Program are available here.

Great Wolf Lodge will work with the ANA to distribute the donated room nights to nurses within their network, with stays available at any of the company’s 17 U.S. resorts. Nurses can book their complimentary stays starting June 1, and choose from a variety of stay dates between Aug. 1 and Dec. 17, 2020, excluding Saturday nights and holiday periods. To help ensure nurses across the U.S. have an opportunity to participate, Great Wolf Lodge will set aside a select number of complimentary stays per resort, per day, based on the final number of donated rooms.

The ANA is the country’s premier organization representing the interests of the nation’s four million registered nurses, and is at the forefront of improving the quality of health care for all.
