Global Concur TripLink partners now includes American Airlines

Concur’s TripLink Network Helps Customers Meet Growing Business Travel Needs

BELLEVUE, Wash., 2016-Jul-19 — /Travel PR News/ — Concur, the world’s leading provider of integrated travel and expense management solutions and services, today announced a new TripLink partnership with American Airlines to enable mutual customers to capture business travel bookings being made outside of traditional channels today, including those bookings made on AA.com. The integration gives travel managers the visibility, benefits and tools associated with their corporate managed travel programs across bookings that travelers are making on AA.com, while TripIt Pro, a component of the TripLink offering, captures AA.com bookings made across other channels.

This integration and partnership helps companies improve policy compliance and duty of care efforts where gaps exist for managers whose travelers are booking direct today. With TripLink, travel managers have reporting capabilities, enhanced duty of care and the ability to apply policy even when employees book directly on AA.com or send their AA itineraries to TripIt.

Concur TripLink is the first solution of its kind to extend the benefits of a managed travel program to bookings that happen directly with suppliers. This allows businesses to:

  • Maximize the use of negotiated corporate discounts
  • Gain visibility into spend, no matter where it is booked
  • Have a consolidated view of all travel program data
  • Ensure end user compliance with company travel policy
  • Fulfill duty of care requirements
  • Drive greater traveler productivity and satisfaction with TripIt Pro for all travelers

“Travel managers are caught in the proverbial middle seat when it comes to visibility into bookings,” said Tim MacDonald, executive vice president of Travel for Concur. “On one hand they are working to increase savings for the company and keep track of employees’ location to ensure their safety, while on the other hand, business travelers sometimes need to book outside the program. Concur TripLink solves that specific problem by connecting every part of the travel ecosystem so managers can have more control and visiblity while giving travelers more choices.”

Global Concur TripLink partners include AccorHotels, Airbnb, Air Canada, American Airlines, Avis, Booking.com, Captain Train, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Etihad Airways, Hertz, HRS, HotelTonight, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Lufthansa, Marriott International, National Car Rental, Omni Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Sixt Rent a Car, United Airlines and Wally Park.
