Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay Unveils Ocean-to-Table Margarita

New twist on classic cocktail infuses Hawaiian sea salt foam

Hawaii, Lana’i at Manele Bay, U.S.A. – 2012-10-24 — /travelprnews.com/ — The age old question of salt or no salt is a thing of the past at Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay. Margarita connoisseurs are invited to sip on the new Manele Margarita, an ocean-to-table concept that infuses an unusual twist on the classic cocktail with a lightly salted foam topping.

The Manele Margarita’s unique foam topping blend is a delicious departure from the traditional salted rim. The Hawaiian sea salt foam is created daily by Executive Pastry Chef Rabii Saber, and the Resort is the only establishment in Hawaii offering house made sea salt foams.

“Manele Bay’s inspiring backdrop of turquoise blue water, white sand beaches and natural salty Hawaiian air served as my mixology muse behind the ocean-to-table concept,” says Jeremy Sidman, food & beverage manager at Four Seasons Resorts Lanai. “The Manele Margarita compliments the Resorts’ pristine surroundings, pays homage to the ocean with the use of Hawaiian sea sal,t and offers an exclusive sip for our guests. As trendsetters in the mixology world, it was important to be the only resort offering such a customized and unique experience, making for an idyllic Hawaii getaway.”

The Manele Margarita is available at Fresco for USD 18.00 and features a perfect balance of sweet and salty, infused throughout the blend. The libation is made with Patron Silver, Combier Liqueur D’Orange, house made lime sour, serrano chili and cilantro. Guests have the opportunity to play mixologist by selecting from the house made Hawaiian sea salt foams – strawberry guava or pineapple calamansi.
