Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta Welcomes Vishal Sanadhya as Its First-Ever Hotel Manager

Jakarta, Indonesia, 2023-Apr-26 — /Travel PR News/ — From the coveted riverside of Bangkok to the vibrant heart of Jakarta, Vishal Sanadhya makes the move to Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta. As the property’s first-ever Hotel Manager, Vishal takes charge of all day-to-day operations, which include accommodations, food and beverage, spa, fitness and catering. With more than 16 years of experience with Four Seasons, he brings a well-honed approach for service excellence to his new role at Jakarta’s premier urban sanctuary.

“Being a true boutique gem, personalization is in the DNA of this Hotel. I’m excited to continue creating extraordinary moments of delight for our guests,” he says. “What really sets us apart is our custom-made stays for families, couples and business travellers alike. From the moment they arrive, guests can look forward to a succession of highly curated experiences that celebrate their uniqueness.”

Indeed, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta has demonstrated a passion for curated luxury ever since opening its doors and is widely acclaimed for its well-crafted offerings, including elegant all-suite accommodations and an exquisite in-house art collection. Glamorous yet playful, the Hotel is known for its heartfelt acts of love towards guests, making every visit feel extra special.

In the coming year, Jakarta residents can also expect a growing calendar of locally rooted experiences at their favourite city-centre Hotel. “My team and I look forward to deepening our links with the community. Think of Four Seasons as a stage for social theatre, where global visitors and local residents can connect and mingle,” explains Vishal.

Vishal comes to Jakarta from Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, where he was part of the pre-opening team. Under his leadership as Director of Food and Beverage, the team created an award-winning restaurant and bar program, garnering both a Michelin star and a ranking on the World’s 50 Best Bars list. Establishing the Hotel as a must-visit gastronomic destination is an achievement Vishal counts among his greatest professional successes, especially given the challenges brought about by the pandemic. Previously, Vishal supported several Four Seasons properties in other locations, including Beijing, Maldives, Singapore and Mumbai.

As a leader, Vishal is a big believer in the power of why: “When team members know the big picture and understand the reasoning behind their responsibilities, they feel inspired to go above and beyond. That’s why it’s important to share the why, not just the what.”

When he is not at work, he enjoys listening to vinyls, with more than 170 records in his collection. He also loves to explore the local culinary scene, from street food markets to acclaimed restaurants and bars. In fact, one of the reasons Vishal understands what guests need is that he is often a guest himself. A gastro tourist, he designs his vacations based on his food map, perpetually on the hunt for local specialities and the best Negroni in town. Now in Indonesia, he is excited to discover the country’s vibrant flavours, as well as its wealth of natural wonders – volcanoes, rainforests, remote islands and more.
