Beirut, Lebanon, 2016-May-16 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Hotel Beirut announces that Georges Akar has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing. In this new role, Georges will be responsible for leading all aspects of the Sales and Marketing team.
Akar joined the company as Director of Sales, Middle East for Four Seasons Hotels Thailand, namely Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Koh Samui. Having spent four years in Thailand, the Middle East region was calling him back, so in 2014, he moved to Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh as Director of Sales before coming to Lebanon.

Akar started his career in the hospitality industry 14 years ago, serving in sales positions with prominent hotel groups including Mandarin Oriental, Gefinor Rotana and Mövenpick. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies, with an emphasis on Hospitality Management from the Lebanese American University.
