Emirates Palace announces unique ways to celebrate National Day

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 2018-Nov-23 — /Travel PR News/ —As the preeminent hotel in the region, every year Emirates Palace finds unique ways to celebrate National Day with its guests and the community.

This National Day Emirates Palace will be donned in the red, white, green and black colours of the UAE flag and our national pride will be on display from our grand dome to our welcoming entryway fountains and grass lawns.

A visit to the Palace’s dome area will offer countless ways to show your National pride from learning about the UAE’s maritime history when you visit our life size dhow replica, to the kids’ corner with fun entertainment, along with a new Louvre Abu Dhabi corner to learn more about Abu Dhabi’s newest cultural treasure.

Learn about 7 different local types of dates and sample some very special varieties. Get up close and personal with the UAE’s national bird, the falcon, in the Dome. There will be local dance performances, and the opportunity to sample local delicacies courtesy of DWTC catering by Emirates Palace, inside the heritage castle. Our signature Ladies in Red will be wandering the interior offering visitors the opportunity to take part in a National Day Lottery and 7 lucky winners will take home special prizes.

The Emirates Palace culinary team will be celebrating National Day with an Emirati section at all-day dining restaurant, Le Vendome, while special creations using venison and ostrich will be showcased at award-winning Emirati restaurant, Mezlai. National Day themed cakes and a special afternoon tea will be available at Le Café.

On both Saturday and Sunday, no one in Abu Dhabi should miss the spectacular fireworks display. Watch as Emirates Palace lights the sky in the colours of the UAE flag at 8:30pm.

Visitors are invited to share their National Day 2018 celebrations via a live display when using the hashtags #EmiratesPalace and #EPNationalDay in social media posts, in addition to a bespoke SnapChat filter created for the occasion.
