DFW Airport Anticipates Record Spring Break Travel Numbers with Over 4.2 Million Passengers Expected

This reflects a 14.3% increase compared to last year and an 11.8% increase when compared to Spring Break 2019. This increase underscores the strong demand for travel. Additionally, we recommend that customers arrive at DFW at least two hours before a domestic or international flight to allow ample check-in and security screening time. We expect our parking garages and lots to be very busy, and Terminals C and D tend to fill up the quickest. For customers flying American Airlines, if parking is unavailable at your departure terminal, you can park, check-in, and check baggage at any of our five terminals. Express and Remote parking is also available with shuttle service to all terminals. Once checked in, customers can use Skylink to connect easily to any other terminal within minutes. Customers can also use the DFW Airport App to find real-time TSA security wait times and the locations of TSA Pre-Check lanes for eligible passengers.
