Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 2018-Dec-11 — /Travel PR News/ —Deutsche Hospitality has joined forces with supply chain specialists at the Kloepfel Group to launch the Sourcify.net procurement platform. This means that all European hotel and restaurant chains, hospitals, old people’s homes and care homes are now able to take advantage of the same cost-effective, professional and digital purchasing processes used by Deutsche Hospitality hotels. Sourcify.net currently offers the definitive solution in this area, and there is no comparable product on the market anywhere else in the sector. 350 hotels from prestigious chains have already adopted the system, which is equally suitable for deployment in the restaurant and nursing branches.

Modular system – digitalisation à la carte
Sourcify.net provides a crucial edge over conventional procurement companies. Its digital system maps every single step of the process – request for proposals, ordering, goods in, invoice checks, materials management and inventories, recipes and till connections. Administration of agreements and catalogues and procurement of services are also integrated. Sourcify.net is a modular digital system which enables customers to achieve significant simplification of procurement via individual automation of procedures.

An initial decision is taken by the purchasing department as to which operational processes will be digitalised. This represents an easily comprehensible and transparent approach which meets auditing requirements.

“This platform offers a unique combination of hotel expertise and procurement and supply chain knowledge,” says Lars Schmid, Managing Director of Sourcify GmbH. “The great thing about the system is that it is equally capable of deployment in the catering and care sectors. This generates enormous areas of potential for hospitals, old people’s homes, care homes, restaurants, canteens and for many other organisations besides.”

Simply a superior purchasing option
The Sourcify.net solution can be implemented within an extremely short space of time and is available in 14 languages. An intuitive set-up delivers just as much user friendliness as a modern web shop. This is an ideal option for companies seeking to obtain full transparency and control in respect of their major purchasing operations whilst also acting in both a decentralised and networked way. An optional Business Intelligence Tool maintains a full summary of all data relating to orders, stock levels and invoices. The purchasing department is thus able to gain a complete grip of all processes.

Confidentiality is assured
The data and terms and conditions of Sourcify.net customers are processed in a strictly separated way. Everything remains confidential. All information is archived in accordance with the relevant laws and in compliance with audit requirements.

Pooling effects produce cost savings
Sourcify.net can be adapted to suit client needs. Hotel, retirement home and restaurant chains include their own ranges and decide for themselves which groups of products they would like to purchase together with other users. Each party thus remains autonomous whilst still enjoying access to the digital procurement tools available via the platform. Users are also able to benefit from quantity effects. This principle is as simple as it is ingenious. Sourcify.net works on an ongoing basis to analyse the procurement volumes of interested customers. It then pools these and carries out requests for proposals to facilitate significantly better procurement terms.  The range available to this collaborative purchasing group is also being continuously expanded.

The partnership that it has entered into with Kloepfel allows Sourcify.net to offer its customers the opportunity to reduce procurement costs in a targeted way. Savings exceed the expenditure required to put sustainable digitalisation in place.

“Working together, but in a stand-alone company, says Marc Kloepfel, Managing Director of the Kloepfel Group, “enables us to offer our customers a unique product in terms of digital procurement expertise, consultancy and implementation.”

Piloted in practice by prestigious hotel chains
Several hundred individual hotels and restaurants have been using Sourcify.net for years. Some of these process all of their purchasing operations via the platform.

The GCH Hotel Group, which operates 120 properties, is impressed with the unique benefits Sourcify.net is able to provide. “We have been working with Sourcify.net for a year, and we are very satisfied overall,” commented GCH Hotel Group’s Vice president of Procurement Denis Karalić. “We are one of Europe’s leading hotel management companies. Because we run a multitude of branches under a single umbrella, it is very important to us that services are efficiently tailored to our individual requirements and that adaptations take place on an ongoing basis to meet the changing needs within the sector. Sourcify.net fulfils all these prerequisites by always offering expert consultancy and highly accommodating support. This has been very helpful from the outset.”
