Delta Air Lines to operate daily non-stop service between Sea-Tac Airport and Edmonton International Airport (EIA)

Delta Air Lines to begin service between Seattle-Tacoma and Edmonton

Edmonton, AB, 2015-9-21 — /Travel PR News/ — Edmontonians and western Canadians will have a convenient new option to access Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. Beginning December 15, 2015, Delta Air Lines will operate daily non-stop service between Sea-Tac Airport and Edmonton International Airport (EIA).

The new flight will be operated on a Delta Connection CRJ700 aircraft. The flight will leave Edmonton at 9:00 am and arrive in Seattle at 9:55 am. Edmonton-bound travellers will leave Seattle at 7:55 pm and arrive in Edmonton at 10:50 pm.

“From Anchorage to San Diego, our new service will provide convenient access to more than 40 destinations from our Seattle hub in addition to the more than 120 destinations served through our existing Minneapolis service, said Andy Renner,” Delta Air Lines Director of Domestic Network Planning

“Delta is a key partner, and we’re pleased to see Delta investing in more service from our airport.  Seattle is a great destination, and offers good connections into Asia as well as into the Pacific Northwest. For Seattle, Edmonton offers a strong network of connections across Canada and into Europe. Seattle and Edmonton are both thriving business centres, wonderful leisure destinations and avid sports towns, so this new air service is excellent news for both cities,” said Tom Ruth, President and CEO of Edmonton International Airport.

Delta now offers travellers service to two large hubs from Edmonton: Minneapolis-St. Paul and Seattle-Tacoma, connecting to over 230 destinations. The new service is expected to attract business and leisure passengers in both directions.
