China Airlines passengers travelling from Kunshan to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport or Shanghai Pudong International Airport can complete check-in procedures at China Airlines’ check-in counter at Kunshan Terminal. Passengers checking in at Kunshan Terminal for flights departing from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport must complete check-in procedures three to five hours before flight departure. Due to bus schedules and ground transportation times of up to two hours between Kunshan and Shanghai Pudong, passengers flying out of Pudong International Airport have to finish checking in at Kunshan Terminal four to six hours before flight departure. Passenger’s checked baggage will be transported from Kunshan Terminal to the designated airport in Shanghai to complete the follow-up security checks and other procedures.

Kunshan is an important business center for Taiwan merchants, and Kunshan Terminal is only a five-minute ride from the city center. Previously, Kunshan Terminal had only been available to mainland Chinese airlines. China Airlines’ check-in counter at Kunshan Terminal gives China Airlines passengers the convenience of getting their boarding passes and checking in their baggage before traveling to Shanghai Hongqiao or Pudong Airport.

In addition to Kunshan Terminal, China Airlines currently offers check-in service at the Taoyuan station of Taiwan High Speed Rail and the Hong Kong and Kowloon stations of Hong Kong Airport Express.
