The new built property featuring 225 keys is scheduled to open in 2016. Radisson Blu is Europe’s largest upper upscale brand and offers first class, full service hotels with contemporary architecture and design, innovative concepts, and signature services such as free high speed internet access.

The Radisson Blu Hotel Mannheim is part of the urban redevelopment of Mannheim’s Q6/Q7 quarter that also includes a shopping centre, offices, retail, food & beverage outlets, and apartments. The hotel entrance will be located directly in the pedestrian zone of Mannheim and offer easy access to the city centre and nearby attractions like the castle, one of the biggest in Europe. Besides 225 modern rooms (including 18 long stay apartments with kitchenette) the property will also comprise an all-day-dining restaurant with large roof terrace; 600 sqm of meeting space including pre-function area, a state-of-the-art conference room of 220 sqm (dividable into 3 function rooms), and 3 meeting rooms; a wellness area with gym and sauna; and parking facilities.
Mannheim is the second largest city of the German state Baden-Württemberg, and the geographical, economical and cultural hub of the European metropolitan region “Rhein-Neckar”. The area and the city host headquarters of international companies like SAP, BASF, John Deere and ABB, a most reputable university, and is an established location of international congresses and conferences. Mannheim can easily be accessed via the high speed train ICE (Central Station is just 800m away from the new Radisson Blu Hotel), and is only a 40 minutes train ride away from Germany’s largest airport Frankfurt. Just 15 travel minutes away, tourists also enjoy prominent sights like the castle of Heidelberg and the fantastic garden of the castle Schwetzingen.
