CARIBBEAN AIRLINES ADDS THIRD WEEKLY NON-STOP LONDON FLIGHT

2012-09-28 — /travelprnews.com/ — Effective November 20th, Caribbean Airlines commences a third weekly non-stop service between London and Port of Spain. The current non-stop services leave Port of Spain on Thursdays and Saturdays, returning on Fridays and Sundays.

Caribbean Airlines’ CEO(Ag), Robert Corbie explained the move. “We recognised that for many travellers, the mid-week slot would be very convenient and we decided to strategically deepen our presence on the route and offer a more flexible service on the preferred dates of travel. Soon our diaspora, business and leisure travellers will be able to enjoy these flights on our wide-body 767-300ER aircraft with the unique warmth of our inflight service experience.

Chairman Rabindra Moonan underscored the policy behind the commitment, “We took the decision to launch the London route and have seen encouraging loads. Now, being able to offer our full service, on our own aircraft, will make the flights even more attractive. This additional mid-week service signals that we are very serious about meeting the need to connect with London and beyond the gate into Europe and the Far East.”

Alicia Cabrera, Senior Marketing Manager announced a 50% miles deal to London aptly named “My London Miles Dream” which allows frequent flyers to fly to and from London for 50 percent less miles.
