Britta Beringer appointed new director at Steigenberger Hotel & Resort Camp de Mar

Britta Beringer takes over as Director

Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 2020-Jul-10 — /Travel PR News/ — Successful reopening on Mallorca. The 5-star Steigenberger Hotel & Resort Camp de Mar, which is operated by the RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group, officially reopened for business on 1 July following weeks of general closure because of the corona pandemic. It will now be led by Britta Beringer, also with effect from 1 July. Britta Beringer knows the hotel extremely well after having spent many years as Director of Sales & Marketing and as Deputy General Manager. She has displayed a sure instinct and tireless commitment over the past few months and has provided excellent guidance to her team throughout the phase of closure and reopening.

Britta Beringer left Germany after completing training as a hotel specialist at the Alsterhof Ringhotel Berlin. She initially relocated to Fuerteventura, where she took on a position as Front Office Clerk and played a key role in the opening of the Robinson Club Jandia Palace. From 1994 to 1999, she worked as Front Office & Reservation Manager at the Robinson Club Tulum in Mexico. Once again, Ms. Beringer was involved in the opening process. During this part of her career, she also completed a four-month secondment to help launch the Robinson Club Soma Bay (Egypt). Britta Beringer settled on Mallorca in 1999. Since this time, she has been employed at Steigenberger Hotel & Resort Camp de Mar, formerly known as the Dorint Royal Golfresort & Spa Camp de Mar.

The 5* Steigenberger Hotel & Resort Camp de Mar offers 164 rooms with modern furnishings and fittings and is set in an especially impressive seafront location. The 18-hole golf course “Golf de Andratx” is also situated within the immediate vicinity, and there are a further nine golf courses within a 45-kilometre radius.
