Blue Angels to Arrive in Formation at SFO

Precision Flight Team to Perform for Fleet Week Audiences

SAN FRANCISCO — 2012-10-5 — /travelprnews.com/ — The U.S. Navy’s precision flight demonstration team, the Blue Angels, will arrive in formation at San Francisco International Airport on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at approximately 6:15 p.m. PDT.

Media desiring to photograph/videotape the arrival must be at Airfield Operations Services, Building 1057 (located next to the Executive Terminal) on North Access Road, NO LATER THAN 5:45 p.m. on  October 2, 2012 for escort to the airfield viewing area.  Due to limited airfield escorts, late arrivals cannot be accommodated.  The North Access Road exit is located adjacent to the US 101/I-380 interchange just north the main SFO exit off of US 101.

The Blue Angels will conduct practice flights on both Thursday,  October 4; and Friday, October 5.  The Blue Angels will perform for the Fleet Week Air Show on Saturday, October 6 and again on Sunday, October 7.  All flights are subject to change and cancellation due to weather.
