As host city for the annual ‘Ice Sculpture Festival’, St Petersburg celebrates a long history of carving ice into impressive sculptures. Returning to the embracing warmth of the timeless hotel, Vodka Sommelier & Caviar Master, Alexander Dmitriev, offers a private masterclass on pairing the nation’s most opulent culinary exports whilst teaching how to distinguish between the nuances of each caviar variety and matching with one of the hotel’s heritage vodkas.
Guests sip a glass of champagne at the glamorous Lobby Bar, the perfect aperitif before an evening of cultural indulgence with tickets to the hotel’s private box in Mikhailovsky Theatre for a captivating ballet performance.
