In 2012, 14 per cent of the company’s revenues were invested in R&D to make sure Amadeus’ solutions deliver efficiencies and continue to shape the future of travel.

Together with Amadeus’ level of R&D investment , “our people’s competencies, skills and attitudes and our company’s robust and sustainable business model are clear pillars for Amadeus”, comments Svend Leirvaag, Vice President, Industry Affairs, Amadeus. With over 11,000 people from 110 countries and speaking 53 languages, multiculturalism and diversity make Amadeus a culturally rich company.

Amadeus has developed extensive projects within both the Corporate Citizenship (138 initiatives in 45 countries) and the Environmental Sustainability global framework. These include initiatives such as the Amadeus’ 25th anniversary celebration through varied community projects led by the company’s network of volunteers worldwide.
