Allegiant Announces Nonstop Service to Casper Wyoming

CASPER, Wyo., 2012-09-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) announces new, nonstop jet service between Casper, Wyo. and Phoenix/Mesa, Ariz. beginning Dec. 20, 2012. The company, known for its exceptional travel deals, will introduce the new service with fares as low as $69.99* one way.

“We are pleased to announce a new, affordable and convenient travel option for Casper on the same day we celebrate four years of service at Casper/Natrona County International Airport,” said Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Company President. “We are confident area residents will appreciate the convenience of flying nonstop to Phoenix and the value of bundling their air, hotel and car rental reservation together.”

The new flights will operate twice weekly between Casper/Natrona County International Airport (CPR) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA) beginning Dec. 20, 2012.

“I am both thrilled and excited about the new Allegiant service to the Phoenix/Mesa market,” said Glenn Januska, Airport Manager. “I know the community, the county, and frankly the entire central Wyoming region will support it just like they have done with the Las Vegas service the past four years. Frankly, ever since Allegiant started serving the Mesa market, that is all people have asked me about.”

Allegiant’s “Vote for Vacation” bus is stopping in Casper today during their 77-city bus tour promoting the nation’s right to vacation. The campaign stop will be at Eastridge Mall with a live radio remote hosted by KWYY-FM from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.  Casper residents can attend the event to vote for their favorite type of vacation and celebrate the new service announcement. The first 100 people who attend the event will receive a special tax break – a coupon for $21.60, the amount of federal taxes for roundtrip airfare — for a future vacation package with Allegiant. At the conclusion of the month-long campaign, Allegiant will award one grand prize: free flights on Allegiant for four years. People who are unable to attend the events can also fill out “absentee ballots” online at www.vote4vacation.com.

Casper area travelers can take advantage of everyday low fares and save even more when they book air, hotel, car, activity and attraction reservations together. For flight schedules and reservations please visit allegiant.com.
