BERLIN, Germany, 2014-12-4 — /Travel PR News/ — From today (3 December 2014) until the end of the year, topbonus members can donate their miles to worthwhile aid projects with the support of the “Menschen für Menschen” Foundation (‘People for People’), Karlheinz Böhm’s Ethiopia Aid programme, and the Regine Sixt “Drying little tears” Children’s Aid Foundation.

Donating miles is quick and easy via the topbonus Shop at shop.topbonus.de or airberlin.com/topbonus. Various aid projects are presented on the website. topbonus members can choose a donation package and how many miles they wish to donate to each project. topbonus passes the appropriate sum to the respective aid organisations.
“Menschen für Menschen” projects, which members can support with donations of 2,500 award miles or more, aim to provide clean drinking water to people in Ethiopia. Donating miles can also enable children to receive combination vaccinations. 10,000 miles can give the gift of a primary education to a child in Ethiopia.
With Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation, topbonus members can gift from 2,000 award miles for the development of a boarding pre-school for neglected children in Mexico.
