2013-08-05— /travelprnews.com/ — airberlin and Air Seychelles have extended their codeshare agreement, meaning airberlin guests can now fly to the beautiful paradise island of Praslin, via Mahé.
Praslin will be accessible four times a week from Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich. All Seychelles-bound flights are optimally connected to the hub of airberlin’s strategic partner, Etihad Airways, in Abu Dhabi.
Through its codeshare agreement with Air Seychelles, airberlin is the only European airline to offer its guests codeshare flights to the island of Praslin.
The second largest island in the Seychelles is renowned for its idyllic beaches, which are consistently rated among the best in the world in international rankings, and the “Vallée de Mai” (May Valley) Nature Reserve, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Vallée de Mai is also home to the extraordinary “Coco de Mer”, a nut species that only grows on Praslin and the smaller neighbouring island of Curieuse.
For Air Seychelles guests, the enhanced codeshare agreement adds the northern European cities of Copenhagen and Stockholm which are now accessible via Berlin.
The new codeshare connections to Praslin can be booked online at airberlin.com, through the airline’s Service Center around the clock on +49 30/3434 3434 (local rates apply) or through a travel agency.
