(PRESS RELEASE) MONTREAL, 2025-May-9 — /Travel PR News/ — Air Canada has announced the extension of its partnership with The Landline Company, continuing the successful luxury motorcoach service between Toronto Pearson, John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, and the Region of Waterloo International Airport. Launched as a pilot program a year ago, the service has received a strong positive response from customers, prompting this continuation of the agreement.

“After a successful year of operation, we are thrilled with the popularity and effectiveness of this innovative initiative,” said Ranbir Singh, Director, Regional Airlines and Markets at Air Canada. “Our multimodal approach has proven to be an excellent way to enhance connectivity within our network, providing customers with more convenient travel options. We look forward to further developing this service, including working toward a direct airside-to-airside connection, pending regulatory approval, and expanding it to other regions across Canada.”

The luxury motorcoach service is set to enhance the customer experience with upgrades, including fast, free Wi-Fi to be introduced next week. Passengers will be able to stream video content and play games on their personal devices during their journey. Together with Air Canada, Landline is collaborating with airports and regulators to bring airside-to-airside connections to life, improving the regional travel experience for passengers.

Nick Johnson, Vice President of Commercial for The Landline Company, expressed excitement about the continued partnership, stating, “We are refining our services and collaborating with Air Canada to offer an even more seamless, cost-effective, and enjoyable travel experience for our customers.”

Karen Redman, Chair of the Region of Waterloo, highlighted the impact of the service, saying, “The partnership has enhanced travel options for our passengers, offering easier connectivity to domestic and international destinations. We’re proud to support the service’s growth in the Waterloo Region.”

Ed Ratuski, Executive Managing Director of Hamilton International Airport, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing how the service strengthens Hamilton’s role as a key regional hub. “We’ve seen firsthand how this integration between luxury motorcoach service and air travel has improved the customer experience, and we look forward to continuing to elevate it,” he added.

The luxury motorcoaches, manufactured by Quebec-based Prevost, are equipped with features such as spacious leather seats, free Wi-Fi, power outlets, and full accessibility for passengers with reduced mobility. The service runs multiple non-stop trips daily, offering passengers the same benefits as air travel, including boarding pass and baggage tag printing, disruption protection, and the ability to earn Aeroplan points.
