Agoda and TAT Join Forces to Promote Wellness Travel and Emerging Thai Destinations

(NEWS) SINGAPORE, 2026-Jun-17 — /Travel PR News/ — Thailand’s tourism recovery is increasingly being shaped by digital platforms, traveller data and targeted campaigns aimed at both international visitors and domestic travellers.

Agoda and the Tourism Authority of Thailand are expanding their strategic collaboration to support tourism growth through data-led marketing, product development and industry capacity-building initiatives. According to a press release published by Agoda, the partnership will combine Agoda’s travel insights and digital reach with TAT’s destination marketing expertise to promote Thailand in key markets.

The collaboration will focus on demand generation, emerging tourism trends and efforts to encourage travel beyond the country’s most established destinations. Areas of focus include wellness tourism, lesser-known locations, travel safety communications and broader support for sustainable tourism practices.

The partnership also connects with the ongoing Trusted Thailand collaboration, which aims to strengthen visitor confidence and support tourism businesses through capacity-building and industry development.

For Thailand, the expanded partnership comes as destinations compete more actively for international travellers through digital visibility, targeted campaigns and product diversification. By using booking data and market intelligence, tourism authorities can better identify traveller interests and promote experiences aligned with changing demand.

Agoda’s links to Thailand add another layer to the collaboration. The company was founded in Phuket more than two decades ago and now operates as a global digital travel platform offering access to more than six million accommodation properties, 130,000 flight routes and 300,000 travel activities worldwide.
