Aeroflot gets Russia’s Company of the Year Award

Company of the Year is Russia’s most prestigious annual business award honoring the achievements of leading organizations within the national corporate sector.

Award nominees are selected by the Expert Council consisting of influential governmental experts, leading businessmen and representatives of non-profit organizations.

Aeroflot was recognized by the Council members as favorite in Aviation transport nomination for its continuous efforts and achievements in enhancing service standards, implementation of innovative products and contribution to the whole Russian Civil aviation industry.

For instance, only in 2011 the Aeroflot standalone bet its own record and carried 14 million people (Aeroflot Group carried more than 20 million passengers in the reporting year); five former SC“Russian Technologies” regional airlines were successfully integrated into Aeroflot Group and once again Aeroflot passed the certification for IATA safety standards and reaffirmed its status of the safest airline in Russia and one of the most reliable in the world.

Aeroflot has been awarded Company of the Year title for the fifth time. In 2002 Aeroflot took top honor in Mass market service category, and in 2005, 2007 and 2011 Aeroflot was the best in Transport nomination.
