Aer Lingus customers cannot check-in online ahead of flights to / from the USA unless they use VeriFLY.

VeriFLY is a travel pass app that allows users to upload and ensure that their travel documentation is checked and approved before travelling to the airport.  This will allow customers to get their online boarding pass and go straight to bag drop / boarding gate, and avoid queuing at check-in.

Customers that are vaccinated and are not US citizens must do the following before they travel to the airport:

  1. Download the VeriFLY app for Apple or Android device
  2. Upload the following documentation to VeriFLY, to allow for online check-in

    2. A Covid test** completed 3 days in advance of travel
    3. Attestation (Self-Declaration) form (section 1 and section 2).
  3. Complete the Contact Tracing Form and receive email confirmation (that will be checked at the boarding gate)
  4. Complete online ESTA and APIS
  5. Make sure their passport is valid for 6+ months
  6. Arrive at the airport three hours before your flight

If customers chose not to use VeriFLY, they cannot check-in online. They must bring all of the correct travel documentation / digital forms to our check-in agents who will manually check all documentation and ask the customer to complete the Attestation (Self-Declaration) form before they can be issued a boarding card.
