Featuring football stars Erling Haaland and Vinícius Júnior, the campaign includes ticket releases, curated experiences, and special offerings through the Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform. Highlights include access to all tournament matches and a grand prize “Sleepover Suite” experience inside the stadium before the final. The initiative reflects growing demand for experience-driven travel and aims to enhance fan engagement by combining travel, hospitality, and sports entertainment.

(PRESS RELEASE) BETHESDA, MD, 2026-Apr-16 — /Travel PR News/ — Marriott International and Visa have launched a global campaign titled For Fans, Everywhere, designed to bring football supporters closer to the FIFA World Cup 2026 through exclusive access and immersive experiences.

The initiative leverages Visa’s role as an official Worldwide Partner of the tournament and Marriott Bonvoy’s travel platform to offer fans unique opportunities tied to the event, which will be hosted across North America for the first time in over 30 years. The campaign is centered on enhancing the fan journey, combining travel, access, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Global football stars Erling Haaland and Vinícius Júnior will headline the campaign, appearing in digital content and promotional material aimed at engaging audiences worldwide. This includes a series of social media activations and a cinematic brand film to coincide with the tournament’s kickoff.

A key component of the campaign is the release of tickets and curated experiences through the Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform, made available to members who are also Visa cardholders. Beginning in mid-April, the platform will feature access to every match of the FIFA World Cup 2026, alongside more than 600 experience offerings. These include fixed-price packages, auctions, and limited “1-Point Drops,” which provide first-come, first-served access to high-demand moments, including the tournament final.

Among the standout experiences is a grand prize offering a one-night stay inside a specially designed luxury suite at the New York New Jersey Stadium on the eve of the final match. This “Sleepover Suite” experience allows selected winners to stay within the stadium itself, overlooking the pitch and immersing them in the atmosphere ahead of one of the world’s most anticipated sporting events.

Peggy Roe, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at Marriott International, highlighted the role of travel in shaping the fan experience, noting that supporters often bring their culture and identity with them as they follow their teams across borders. She emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting fans throughout their journey, from attending matches to participating in shared traditions.

FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström described the tournament as an opportunity to redefine fan engagement, with millions expected to attend matches across Canada, Mexico, and the United States. He noted that partnerships like this one help create memorable and meaningful experiences for supporters.

Kyndra Russell, North America Chief Marketing Officer at Visa, added that the campaign aims to turn travel and event access into lasting memories, reinforcing the connection between fans and the tournament.

The campaign comes at a time when sports tourism is experiencing significant growth, accounting for a substantial share of global travel spending. With increasing interest in soccer and international sporting events, the FIFA World Cup 2026 is expected to become a major cultural and travel milestone.

Through this collaboration, Marriott Bonvoy and Visa aim to redefine how fans experience global sporting events, offering access to exclusive opportunities that go beyond traditional match attendance and deepen engagement with the world of football.
