WHAT: Go Dawgs! Go Cougs! Celebrate the Apple Cup with a visit to Woodland Park Zoo and an admission discount. From Nov. 19-25, wear any garb from University of Washington or Washington State University, such as a jersey, sweatshirt, hat or gloves, and receive half off zoo admission. Or, show a valid student ID from either university.
The admission discount applies only to the child or adult wearing the university sportswear and is not to be combined with other discounts or promotions. The discount does not apply to the after-hours winter lights festival, WildLights presented by KeyBank.

WHERE: Enter Woodland Park Zoo through the West Entrance at Phinney Ave. N. between N. 55th & N. 56th Sts. or South Entrance at N. 50th St. & Fremont Ave. N.
COST: Take 50% off regular zoo admission by wearing apparel from UW or Wazzu, or presenting a valid student ID. Admission before discount: Adult (13-64) $11.75; Child (3-12) $8.50; Toddler (0-2) Free. Active, retired, and veteran U.S. military and their families, seniors and people with physical disabilities receive an admission discount. Zoo members receive free zoo admission year-round. Parking: $5.25.

Woodland Park Zoo will be illuminated in a whole new light when its first ever winter lights festival, WildLights presented by KeyBank, debuts November 23 and continues through January 1, 5:30-8:30 nightly. The sparkling, after-hours event will be closed December 24 and 25.
Approximately 375,000 energy-efficient LED lights will recreate wild animals and wild places in two and three dimensions along the zoo’s pathways and North Meadow. An animated display of nature’s wonder will be woven into the zoo’s famous greenery inspired by exotic destinations from across the globe.
Tickets can be purchased online only by visiting www.zoo.org/wildlights. Night-of-event tickets will be for sale at the zoo’s West Entrance, if not sold out. WildLights will be a rain or shine event‒there will be no ticket refunds.
