Vinod Narayan to lead the opening team of Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2018-May-09 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur announces the appointment of Vinod Narayan as Hotel Manager of the all-new ultra-luxurious hotel set to debut mid-2018.  A 13-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Narayan brings a wealth of international experience, specialising in luxury hospitality and food and beverage operations.

As Hotel Manager, Narayan will oversee the day-to-day operations of the 65-storey Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, including managing 209 luxury guest rooms and suites, the ultramodern spa and wellness centresix distinct restaurants and lounges, and the city’s most expansive luxury retail outpost at Four Seasons Shoppes.  Narayan, who has been at the helm of more than 15 restaurant openings throughout his Four Seasons tenure, has garnered global recognition for his innovation, sophisticated vision and flawless execution in developing stylish and authentic epicurean experiences, including overseeing the company’s largest food and beverage operation at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul.

Before making the move to Kuala Lumpur, Narayan held the position of Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, where in addition to overseeing the company’s largest food and beverage operation, he was also instrumental in establishing Four Seasons in the market.  Under his leadership, Yu Yuan restaurant received a prestigious Michelin one-star award and Charles H. bar was included in the “Asia’s Top 50 Best Bars” ranking by Asia’s 50 Best Bars Academy.  Prior to Seoul, his career took him around the world in various food and beverage positions, including Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok (formerly a Four Seasons hotel); The Ritz-Carlton Chicago (formerly a Four Seasons hotel); Four Seasons Hotel New York – which received a second Michelin star for L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon under his tenure; Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel; and Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, where he began his career as a Manager in Training.

Narayan is a graduate of London Guildhall University in the United Kingdom, where he earned a Diploma in Politics and Economics.  He also graduated as Valedictorian with a BBA with Honours in International Hotel Management with Finance from Les Roches School of Hotel Management in Switzerland.  A native of London, Narayan speaks English and Tamil.  In his free time, he enjoys spending precious moments with his family. He is an avid watcher of sports and of course loves finding new restaurants and bars as well as discovering new cuisines whenever he finds himself in a new city.
