2013-07-18 — /travelprnews.com/ — The number of passengers handled by Vienna Airport in June 2013 remained stable in year-on-year comparison with a plus of 0.1% to 2,064,063.
Declines were recorded in the number of flight movements with minus 5.7% and maximum take-off weight with minus 3.1%. Cargo traffic rose by 0.3%. The number of local passengers rose by 3.2% during this same period. The number of transfer passengers using Vienna Airport in June 2013 was 6.3% lower than in June 2012.
Passenger traffic to Eastern Europe was 5.7% lower than in June of the previous year. The number of passengers travelling to Western Europe increased 1.7%, while the Middle East recorded a decline of 10.2% in June 2013.
